Assistant Research Professor Alcohol and End-Organ Damage Univ Colorado, Denver

The laboratory of Elizabeth J. Kovacs, PhD, in the Department of Surgery at the University of Colorado Denver, is seeking an assistant research professor with a doctorate in biochemistry, cell biology, immunology or related field with research interests in basic and translational research in the area of alcohol and end-organ damage.  The successful candidate will help supervise the research projects of members of the laboratory (graduate students, medical students, postdoctoral fellows, research residents, undergraduates and laboratory technicians) and be encouraged to apply for independent funding. This is a full-time faculty appointment at the rank of assistant research professor.
