It is frequently mentioned that starting a lab is like starting a small business; however, many junior investigators report never receiving any type of training in regard to grant management, use of start-up funds, budgeting, etc. throughout any of their graduate or post-doctoral training. The goal of this webinar is to arm early investigators with some key skills so that they can better use their start-up funds, transition awards/grants, etc. and get their labs and careers off to the best start possible.
