Oral Presentation Information

 

See the full program in PDF format, or in the event app, to verify the date and time of the session you are speaking in.

 

  • Check the program and your letter for your allotted talk time.  Plan your talk length accordingly in respecting your audience and fellow speakers.
  • Load your slides in the speaker ready area ("Stadium View" behind the stairs) at least 1 hour prior to your session.
  • Presentation files must be saved as a PowerPoint (not Keynote)
  • Use 16:9 format
  • Bring your file on a flash drive (not a laptop).
  • All presentation laptops are PCs. No personal laptops are permitted for presentations.
  • Save your file as outlined below...

If you are speaking in a SIG on Monday (9/14), bring your talk directly to your session room at least 30 minutes prior to the start of your SIG or as directed by your session chair(s).

If you are speaking in the Poster Flash Talk or Undergraduate Poster Talk Session on Thursday (9/17), your (up to) 5 slides are provided to an MTTC representative via email prior to the start of the conference. MTTC will be reaching out to Flash Talk and Undergraduate Poster Talk presenters soon. If you have questions, please check with MTTC at their table during the breaks. No onsite changes to the flash talk and undergraduate poster slides are permitted.
