Oral Presentation Information

 

See the full program in PDF format, or in the event app, to verify the date and time of the session you are speaking in.

 

  • Check the program and your letter for your allotted talk time.  Plan your talk length accordingly in respecting your audience and fellow speakers.
  • Load your file at the speaker ready room in Galaxy Room AT LEAST 2 HOURS BEFORE YOUR SESSION TIME
  • Presentation files must be saved as a PowerPoint (not Keynote)
  • Use 16:9 format
  • Bring your file on a flash drive (not a laptop).
  • All presentation laptops are PCs. No personal laptops are permitted for presentations.
  • Save your file as outlined below...

If you are speaking in a Plenary or Concurrent Session, visit the speaker ready room in Galaxy Room during the breakfasts, breaks and lunches AT LEAST 2 HOURS PRIOR to the start of your session time to load your talk with the AV Tech. Be sure to know the session day, time and room (Big Ten or Centennial) you are speaking in.

If you are speaking in the Poster Flash Talk Session on Friday (10/25), your slides are provided to an MTTC representative via email prior to the start of the conference. MTTC will be raching out to Flash Talk presenters soon. If you have questions, please check with MTTC at their table in Big Ten A during the breaks.

If you are speaking in a SIG on Tuesday (10/22) or IEIIS Day (10/21), bring your talk directly to your session room at least 30 minutes prior to the start of your SIG (or IEIIS Day) or as directed by your session chair(s).
