Professional Development Workshop Dinner: AI Literacy

This Professional Development Workshop dinner will focus on the topic of AI literacy. The panel of speakers includes Julia Rubin, UBC who will speak on writing literature reviews; Peter Keyel, Texas Tech University, who will speak on use in publications and research; Jared Taylor, UAB, who will speak on use in education and Austin Lowery from the Immunology Center of Georgia who will speak about the current projects IMMCG is undertaking that use AI, and how trainees & mentors alike are adjusting to this rapidly developing technology. Austin will also touch on some future implications of AI usage in research and highlight some tips on how to present this research to the public. 

The event will be held on Friday, October 31st, 2025, 6:30-8:30pm and will include dinner for those that have RSVP'd.  For those that RSVP'd, there will be a ticket in their meeting packet. Limited onsite entry may be possible but is not guaranteed unless you RSVP'd prior to Oct. 15th.
